We are excited for the second release of our new George’s (GG) Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm their vineyard to maximize quality. The 2020 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a balanced crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. This wine is Gregarious and Gargantuan on the palette. The Gratuitous and Gleaming blackberry and cherry fruit aromas are Glorious and Gleefully mouth filling. The Gloating and Galivanting tannins are Gorgeous and Genuine as they Gracefully frame the Gracious and Groovy oak flavors.

Verde Estate Vineyard

This amazing vineyard was planted in 2015 and is located at the foothills of the southern Diablo Range, it produces grapes of incomparable depth and flavor. The grapes were hand-picked at the peak of flavor and crushed within hours of harvest to ensure the flavor was maintained.

We are excited for the second release of our Estate Dornfelder. This unique varietal was developed in Germany in 1955 and was grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm their vineyard to maximize quality. The 2020 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a large crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. This velvety textured, dark colored wine has boysenberry syrup and floral aromas in the nose. The silky tannins combine with blueberry flavors and a toasted coconut finish.

Enjoy this wine with some roasted pork loin.

They meticulously farm their vineyard to maximize quality. The 2019 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a large crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. This velvety textured, dark colored dessert wine has dried flower petal aromas with hazelnut, sherry and briary red fruit in the nose. The silky tannins combine with sweet blueberry flavors to achieve a balance between tawny and ruby port styles. Enjoy this wine stand alone as a dessert or with some yummy blue cheese and walnuts.
