2018 Pinot Noir

2018 Meg's Pinot Noir

Our delicious Pinot Noir comes from grapes grown at the foothills of the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. The 2018 growing season was perfect in the Monterey area allowing for a long hang time on the vine, the grapes for this wine were harvested October 4, 2019. The first release of our Pinot Noir is subtle and complex, delivering rose petal, spicy cinnamon and strawberry aromas with notes of clean earth, sweet tobacco and tar. The subtle tannins and raspberry flavors will go nicely with a tender pork loin served with cranberry compote.

Suggested Pairing:  Veal Chops with Rosemary

2019 Chardonnay

Our delicious Chardonnay comes from grapes grown at the foothills of the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. The 2019 growing season was similar to the 2018 in the Monterey area allowing for a long hang time on the vine, the grapes for this wine were harvested October 11, 2019. The deep straw color of this decadent wine hints at the zesty apple and pear, ripe cantaloupe and citrus fruits in the nose along with toasty almond and graham cracker, vanilla, caramel and butterscotch oak. In the mouth there is ripe apple, lemon curd, brioche, cinnamon and baking spices and a weighty, viscous finish that is anchored to the mouth with lovely acidity. Pair with miso basted Chilean seabass or your holiday turkey!
